Applicant tracking
Applicant tracking for teams hiring in Uganda
An applicant tracking system, or ATS, is software that keeps job applications in one place, so you can see who applied, where each person stands and what happens next. You don't need a separate tool for it on Sevenhires: it comes with your employer account.
Do you need one?
For one vacancy and a handful of applicants, a spreadsheet may be enough. It starts to hurt when several people are hiring, when applications come through different channels, or when you can't remember which candidates you already replied to. That is the point where one shared record saves time.
What Sevenhires tracks
- Everyone who applied to each job, with their application details and CV.
- Each candidate's status, which you can change one at a time or in bulk.
- Candidates who applied elsewhere, which you can add by hand so they are in the same list.
- Assessment results, interviews and offers for each candidate.
- Your messages with each candidate.
- Team members, who can work in the same account.
Limits to know about
Jobs where you choose to receive applications on your own website or by email are not tracked here, because those applications never reach Sevenhires. Plan limits apply to some features, and they are listed on the pricing page.
What to look for in any ATS
- Can candidates apply easily on a phone? Many people in Uganda will.
- Can your whole hiring team see the same record?
- Can you get in touch with candidates from inside the tool?
- Is the price clear before you sign up?
- Who can see candidate data, and how is it protected?
