About this role
Responsible for maintenance of electrical equipment and instruments at the paste backfill plant
Responsibilities
- Maintain PLC systems, VFDs, levellow/weighing instruments, motors and solenoid valves; troubleshoot electrical and instrument faults; calibrate instruments, implement electrical upgrades and hazard remediation, manage spare parts; train local employees.
Requirements
- Diploma or above in electrical/automation/ electromechanical engineering; 3+ years of electrical equipment maintenance at a backfill plant, familiar with surface low-voltage distribution and underground explosion-proof electrical standards; able to read electrical drawings
