Responsibilities
- • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- • Conduct regular audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
- • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- • At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- • Strong understanding of Ugandan tax laws and financial regulations.
- • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
