About this role

Responsible for systematic training and skiils transfer to local tunnel drill operators, preparing training materials and standard operating procedures, and building local Ugandan underground driling expertise

Responsibilities

• Prepare tunnel drill operation training syllapi, matenals and standard operating procedures (SOPs), systematically train in dril operation, multi-angle drilling techniques, core recovery and downhole incident handling, teach underground driling safety and confined space procedures; conduct classroom theory and underground on-site practical mentoring; establish trainee skills assessment and certification systems: mentor local operators and track their skills development

Requirements

• Diploma or above in driling engineering/geological exploration/mining engineering; 5+ years of tunnel drill operation and management; teaching or mentoring ability with capacity to develop training materials independently, familiar with underground driling safety regulations and mine safety management, mine special operation certificate and training qualification preferred; strong communication skills; able to work overseas and underground
