Responsibilities

• • Plan and design drilling programs based on geological data and resource estimates.
• • Coordinate drilling operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• • Evaluate drilling performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, production engineers, and health and safety professionals.
• • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for drilling activities.

Requirements

• • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drilling engineering or related roles within the oil and gas sector.
• • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, tools, and technologies used in the field.
• • Familiarity with Ugandan regulations and safety standards in drilling operations.
• • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
