Investments Intern

About this role

The intern will support the Uganda Investment Team with fixed-income and equity research, cash-position management, client reports and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Support investment research for fixed-income and equity asset classes.
• Help manage daily cash positions and prepare weekly cash meetings.
• Prepare client reports and presentations.
• Develop financial models that support investment decisions.
• Comply with company risk, compliance and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Progress toward CFA is an advantage.
• Approximately six months to two years of related experience or internship exposure.
• Strong report-writing, presentation, communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong interest in investments.
