Responsibilities

• • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
• • Plan menus in collaboration with management, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• • Manage food inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputable establishment.
• • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, particularly Ugandan dishes.
• • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• • Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
• • Certification in culinary arts or related field is an advantage.
